Crystal and Judson's Apr 4, 2009 Wedding at UF Baughman Center

Crystal and Judson had unique musical touches throughout their wedding ceremony.

Prelude (music before the ceremony, as guests are seated) - although they asked me to plan my own mix of songs, they requested that I fit in "You're My Best Friend" and "When You Say Nothing at All" once most of their guests had arrived.

Seating of the Family & Entrance of Wedding Party - While I played a medley of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "What a Wonderful World"

Bridal Entrance - "God Bless the Broken Road"

Although the mothers' lighting of the candles (to be used later for the unity candle) usually happens as the moms are seated, they did it a bit different. Once all the members of the bridal party (including the bride) were in place, the officiant announced that the mothers would light the candles. I played "There Is Love," which was used in Crystal's parents' wedding years ago (a nice touch that I'm sure brought back memories for many couples from their weddings).

At the Unity Candle time itself, my sister (Melody, who is available to sing with me for a nominal fee) and I sang "My Destiny," written by Jim Brickman.

Recessional - "A Whole New World"

Creative and memorable song choices and a beautiful wedding!
